Recently, an 8K ultra-high-definition monitoring system was enabled in some business districts in Haidian District, Beijing. Its core Camera Module relies on “wide dynamic + AI noise reduction” technology to solve the problem of blurred pictures in strong light and backlit environments at night, and the recognition accuracy rate has increased to 98%.

It is understood that the camera module used in this application uses a 1/1.2-inch sensor and a self-developed ISP image processing chip to achieve 24-hour uninterrupted recording, while supporting functions such as flow statistics and early warning of abnormal behaviors.The technical director of a security company said that the module also has a tamper-proof design. Once it is obscured or damaged, the system will immediately trigger an alarm.

With the advancement of the construction of “safe cities”, domestic first- and second-tier cities have begun to replace old surveillance equipment in bulk. It is expected that the purchase volume of camera modules in the security field will increase by 35% year-on-year in 2024.
